First off, I created a playlist of all the games mentioned here. If you don't care about my snark and just want to see more than 100 games that you might get a chance to play in the next 364 days, check it out:
Some more games that couldn't be added to the list and are how this is a 100+ list in the first place.
Games that aren't in the Wiki yet so I put them at the start of the playlist:
Chained Echoes
Creature Keeper
Flynn: Son of Crimson
King's Bounty 2
Little Hellions
Oddity (formerly "Mother 4" fangame)
Path of Exile 2
Kickstartered games that look neat but won't be out for a while yet:
1. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim13 Sentinels: Aegis Rimhttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/13_Sentinels_Aegis_RimOpens wiki page
I still don't know what the game actually is, despite it being out in Japan. I just know I will give anything Vanillaware a shot.
2. Alchemic CutieAlchemic Cutiehttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Alchemic_CutieOpens wiki page
Hey, it's a cute monster raising/farming/gathering/townsfolk interacting game! Can't have too many of those!
3. Animal Crossing: New HorizonsAnimal Crossing: New Horizonshttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Animal_Crossing_New_HorizonsOpens wiki page
Honestly like the game I'm looking forward to this decade most.
4. Ary and the Secret of SeasonsAry and the Secret of Seasonshttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Ary_and_the_Secret_of_SeasonsOpens wiki page
A game with an Asian protagonist and it's not anime styled???
5. Axiom Verge 2Axiom Verge 2https://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Axiom_Verge_2Opens wiki page
This game deserved a sequel. Lots of cool things in the first game, but lots of room for improvement.
6. Babylon's FallBabylon's Fallhttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Babylons_FallOpens wiki page
It's a Platinum game
7. Bayonetta 3Bayonetta 3https://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Bayonetta_3Opens wiki page
It's a Platinum game
8. BiomutantBiomutanthttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/BiomutantOpens wiki page
It's like Skyrim, but fun.
9. Boyfriend DungeonBoyfriend Dungeonhttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Boyfriend_DungeonOpens wiki page
Also includes Girlfriend Dungeon and Themfriend Dungeon and Cat friend Dungeon.
That's not a joke. There are women, NB, and, for you aro/ace people out there, cat weapons in this game.
10. Brave Earth: PrologueBrave Earth: Prologuehttps://giantbomb.com/wiki/Games/Brave_Earth_PrologueOpens wiki page
I feel bad for any game being published by Dangen.
But Kayin has been putting his heart and soul and this and deserves it to be just as big of a hit as I Wanna Be The Guy.
