Hawken...it's been around in beta form on PC since 12/12/12 and recently the new developers of Reloaded Games have ported it over to Xbone and PS4. The player population has been on a steady decline for sometime now and some view the game on life support if not already dead...........but, there are still people playing between the 3 platforms and matches can be found at any given time.

The new dev team has been working almost exclusively on the console versions to try and get more people into the game and stay there to improve the revenue stream. Which means the PC version has pretty much been left on hold in it's current state with no updates for several years now. But for even being ignored for such a long time the game, for the most part, is still fairly well balanced and plays very well.
To date, there have been numerous updates to the consoles and the first coming to the PC has been announced for February 2017. Hopefully by then, if that is a success, it will encourage more players to come back and new players to try it out and stay because what Hawken needs right now besides updates, new content (mechs. maps, weapons, cosmetics ) etc... is more players.
Hawken is relatively old in terms of game years (like dog years) but it's still a game that's really special and deserves a chance to become what it was meant to be when first introduced 5 og 6 years ago at E3.
We will allow you to have an opinion but dude...You just posted a complaint and never posted again, defend it or be specific.
As for the design, I've never had a problem, maybe because they only change a little at a time so it's not like I'm ever at a loss as to where to go.
Well, that's mighty big of you to allow me to have an opinion...Dude !.... But please let me correct you, I didn't post a complaint, I posted my opinion which was specific in stating that this site is very confusing (as I said to me, not everyone in general) in a lot of it's content and in trying to navigate around certain areas....hence the confusing flow and rhythm I felt while trying to understand how things work while moving around. As for not having posted back till now, I'm not on sites like these 24/7 like some people but do like to touch base from time to time and usually get back to read and reply within a relatively short period of time after have posted a topic.
I do appreciate some of the suggestions made by others here to help me better understand how to get the most out of GB. Yes I do agree that the content here is terrific ( almost too much it can be overwhelming) and sites like this are always a work in progress, but for me it's just having to get a better feel how it works.
I really want to keep coming back to GB but have to say, for me, this site is really confusing and not very user friendly. It just seems to be all over the place with no flow, rhyme or reason with how it's laid out. I've been a member over at GS for the last 10 years and that site has just been going down hill since everyone bailed out a few years back and looks to finally hit bottom, so when this site was created a couple of years ago I was very excited but GB just never seemed to win me over. I keep coming back from time to time but still find myself leaving not wanting to return anytime soon.....Just throwing my opinion out there.
They try to sell you gutted copies of games as "new" (they open the game, remove it from it's case, and place the case out on the floor, then try to charge you the New price if you want the game).
Terrible trade in values. Even worse trade in values if you want it in cash
Constant badgering to preorder, subscribe to EDGE, buy an EDGE card, buy an extended warrenty, asking you if you'd rather buy the game Used instead of New. Don't give me that shit that it's "their job". I don't hate the employees personally, I hate the company they work for.
They are god awful about sending the manual/original case of a game when you buy used games online.
Their "refurbished" used consoles are fucking disasters. Half of them are previous red rings or have gotten banned from Xbox Live. Gamestop is basically used as a dumping ground for useless consoles. They never check to see if the console is banned, nor do they test the thing for more than 3 minutes. God knows how easy it is to cook a red ringed 360 and get it working for 4-5 hours, then just pawn it off on GS.
Terrible New and Used prices for their games. Gamestop is always the last retailer to drop prices, and they have maybe 2 sales a year (most of which are sales or B2G1 on used games)
They never stock enough copies of AAA titles on release day, and constantly remind you of this in an attempt to get more preorders. I can't tell you how many times I've had someone working there tell me something like "this is the last new copy we've got, you really should have preordered it."
The majority of people working there either aren't knowledgeable about games, or just don't care enough to engage you in conversation or help you.
Is that enough? Obviously they aren't all bad, but the company has some really terrible policies and methods of motivation. I've long since stopped shopping there. "

No, not neccessarly...but that doesn't mean that a person who isn't a talented artist can't also excel at photoshop....one can be both and one also can not....depends on that persons level of talent.

Another pre-pubescent asshole !....my comments are about the idea, interpretation and degree of my discontent that most people here openly admit and flaunt the fact that they pirate and could care less about it.....maybe even yourself.......my comments are not about actually harming someone.....so I guess I can add you to the list of rocket scientists and brain surgeons that permeate this thread !
