In a multiplayer focus game, the multiplayer will obviously hold more weight than the single player but the single player still counts.
If 1/3 of the package is weak, the game shouldn't be getting 10s and 9.5s.
Most people understand Battlefield is a multiplayer focused game. However, it's not fair for the few people out there who just want a single player experience. Sadly, many people just look at scores and don't bother with actually reading reviews. If they see a 9.5 or 10, go buy the game based on those scores . . . well, that sucks for them.
