GW2 looks amazing. And the fact that I can leave it for a few months (which I inevitably will) and come back without having to worry about setting up another subscription, makes it the clear winner in my eyes.

The Playboy Mansion.

It was in the bargain bin and said Playboy on the cover. Not sure why I ever thought there was a chance I'd like it, I hate games like The Sims.

Just be thankful there's a video game community where you're not forced to censor yourself.

Fuck.

I've been in the exact same position as you a few times. Here's my feelings on the toss up between EVE and WoW:

WoW - As soon as I hit level cap with my main I stopped playing. I found that it changed from a game where I could sit down for an hour or so and run a few quests, to a game where I needed to join a guild and dedicate certain times during the week to raid. I would love to do that (in a large part because I'd rather raid and chat with guildies at night than I would sit in front of a TV) but with my schedule there's just no way for me to be a reliable team member. Things are better these days with Battlegrounds and the Dungeon Finder, so I think WoW might lend itself to casual gaming more than it used to.

EVE - This is an amazing game. Such an awesome story and universe, such a steep learning curve that basically gets rid of all but the most dedicated. But there's one huge problem I've always had: as much as I want to love it, the idea of playing it is far more exciting than the reality.

As soon as I joined one of the large corporations a war broke out with another corp. This meant that for the next week I wasn't allowed to leave a dedicated station. I was literally paying real money to have a virtual space ship docked in a hanger. Now I'm sure once you get to know your corp, begin flying with groups and start fleet battles things would change in a huge way. I just never managed to wait that long.

If I was going to start playing either again (which I wouldn't mind doing in a very casual way), I'd probably choose EVE. I think the way you can level your character even when you don't have the time to play lends itself far better to a casual player. As well as that the concept of a sandbox universe largely shaped by the actions of the community is a really exciting idea.

I have used it for a number of projects, amazing resource. Like @JordanK85 said, I wouldn't be too quick to recommend it for a designer (great information in that post).

Also remember that the site does have a PM feature. If you find a designer you really like, it can be a great idea to contact them directly to build a strong multi-project working agreement.

My first F2P MMO was Ragnarok Online when it was still in beta back in early '02. I had been itching to play an MMO for years at that point (mostly Ultima Online) but could never afford the monthly subscription. Despite all of it's flaws (at the time it was just a grindfest with some PvP later in the game), I still consider RO one of the best MMO experiences I've ever had.

Still Brick and Mortar shops right now, not by choice but because there's no good online stores here in Australia. As soon as I find an online store that gives consistent next day shipping, I'm all over it.

Both on my PS3. I'm playing them for the single player campaign and want both options if mates ever want to play some multiplayer.

I agree with Athadam, try going back and playing Morrowind. It's graphically no worse than current mobile titles and I managed to lose myself in it for months.
