Top 3 has gotta be Outer Wilds, Control, and Apex (in any order). Everything feels sort of all over the place with not a lot of consensus. Everyone seems to like Luigi's Mansion 3 but it being just another one of those might not even be enough to push it into the Top 10. Nobody beat Sekiro (except maybe Ben?). Seems like people like The Outer Worlds but have grown cooler on it as they get further through it. The fact that Fallen Order only got 3 stars makes me think they won't allow it to get particularly high, though I could see it making the Top 10 in some fashion. RE2 will probably get the consensus/nostalgia vote where it seems like everyone likes it enough for it to get into the Top 5.
Based on chatter on Twitter from some people who are likely to have guest lists, Outer Wilds is gonna be pushed even higher, and Disco Elysium might even get pushed into the Top 10 - lots of game devs, freelance writers and such talking about it.
@mere_immortal I'm no expert (I think I've only built like 2 or 3 Gundams in my life), but I will say that it's worth shelling out the extra 10-20 bucks for a Master Grade kit (over a High Grade). I found the High Grade kit to feel sorta cheap, and tough to pose. Master Grade is also bigger so it's less fumbly to build. In terms of specific kit - just browse around and pick one that looks cool! There are a lot.
MGSV gets the top spot, Mario Maker #2. Other 8 (in no particular order) are Rocket League, Undertale, Bloodborne, Splatoon, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Her Story, Just Cause 3 if it ends up being good, and I think Until Dawn makes it on there.
Most of them are into The Witcher 3 a bit but its response has been a bit too tepid to make it on overall top 10, considering especially that most of the crew haven't finished it.
I could see Taken King getting on there if they're willing to consider it it's own thing, but there will probably be a lot of resistance to having Destiny on there two years a row, considering how begrudgingly it was on the top 10 last year.
Fallout 4 is up in the air - needs more time to see how much podcast discussion there is about it in the next few weeks.
