What kind of temperature do you personally feel most comfortable in? I like 85-90, which seems like its on the higher side of the scale, but i dont know. What do you guys like?
@AjayRaz: Well the 360 was decided upon because they could not launch something called Xbox 2 when there would be a PS3, people would naturally think that the Xbox brand was somehow behind. Why 360 specifically, not quite sure, but it may have something to do with the fact that they re branded entirely with the 360. The old Xbox was black and hardcore, this one is white and for everybody, and the differences stem from there.
EDIT: Also, i dont know if anybody important will ever read it, but please get rid of the stupid twitter and facebook stuff all over the site. If I wanted to be on facebook, I wouldnt be on giantbomb, and it really annoys me every time I see something for it. Unless you guys get a giant bag full of money with a $ sign on it to have those links up, then by all means proceed.
I was once told by a waitress how awesome it was that i had dark brown hair (its almost black, pretty close as white people's hair goes) but still bright blue eyes. She told me that it was up to me to seek out other dark haired, blue eyed people and mate so there could be more in the world. Obviously the first thing that popped into my head was, is this waitress hitting on me, which would have been cool cause she looked alright and I never get hit on by waitresses. Unfortunately upon closer inspection, she had brown eyes, so she must have been making a general comment. Still made me happy that day.
To me it felt like Gears and all the other games made with the unreal engine that flood the market and I have grown to despise. Not because it has a cover system of anything but because you are these giant military men with huge power suits and the graphical style is largely the same. There also seemed to be far less to do, but then again, i stopped kind of quickly so i may not have discovered every single thing. Then the mod scene is not nearly as big which is what gives games like these their legs, 04 was and maybe still is crazy supported by the fans, I cant say the same about 3.
I dont know about the current state of online as i stopped playing long ago, but my issue as well as many other people's issues is that it just didn't feel like Unreal. If the game was realeased with some other name as a new ip or something, i bet it would have done/been received far better. Seeing as how you played and loved UT 2004, you might feel this as well, but perhaps not, definitly give it a go seeing as how you bought it already and super cheap to boot. You're playing with the houses money now.
See this does not address the problem that Jeff stated about, "well im paying for wow this month, may as well use it." This is far worse, not its, i paid for this for 16 months, im now in month 7, i dont feel much like playing this at all, but im nowhere near the break even point. Bad move Jeff, i really hope the game is good.
