My 3-month old MadCatz SE fighstick is having an issue where my HK button doesnt work at all, or it barely works. Sometimes I can press it really hard to make it work, but that seems a bit unnecessary and isnt really optimal for regular play. What should be my first step to troubleshoot this problem? I'm not really experienced with modding and stuff, so I didn't want to open it up before talking to someone with more experience or knowledge on the subject. But that's not saying I won't open it up if I can fix it easily that way.
Thanks in advance.

@MarceloAbans: Wow, thank you very much. This is exactly the kind of advice I needed, and the combos were above and beyond what I asked for, but they're really helpful, since I'll need to know them eventually. I'll definitely start working harder on practicing it the way you said, because that seems like the best way to do it.  I'm on XBL, but if I'm any good by the time you get on XBL I'll make sure to hit you up for some matches!
@GetEveryone:
 Yes, I knew about that trick, so I'll try doing it that way too to see if it works better for me. And that's good to know that it's actually not as hard as it seems, because it's an intimidating move to learn since there are so many facets of the move.

And thanks again to everyone who commented, your posts were very encouraging. Hopefully I'm not a total FADC scrub soon!

Hey Giantbomb SSF4 community, I've been playing SF4 for about three months now, just sort of in a weekend warrior, not-so-serious kind of way. I'm not great, but I'm not absolute trash either.
I've just decided to get really into it, and get good, on a higher level of play. I'm starting to learn combos, apply basic theory, and so on. However, my main enemy for getting into where I really want to be skill-wise is the FADC.

I main Cody, and as you probably know if you've seen good Cody play, one of Cody's main combo hooks is the roundhouse ruffian kick, FADC into ultra, or into Neutral-jump fierce. However, I can't get it down for my life. I started trying to pull it off about a week ago on and off in some warmups before I play, but to no avail. I just figured out today how to dash out fast enough to think about getting a move off. Granted, my execution isn't extremely good, but it's competent, and I feel like I need to know how to do this to play a really good cody.

So my question to you, community, is how do you practice and get good at FADC? Is there something about Cody's moves that makes his FADC combos hard to pull off? Do you have a ritual for getting good at the FADC, or a way you did it?  I was thinking about practicing with Ryu's shoryuken/FADC into ultra to get the timing down, since his seems somehow more manageable. I might be making that up though.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Aww, other Brad, don't be so hard on your mom. I'm sure she's a terrific woman.
Not that I have any idea.

Everyone who's ever had an iPod knows that when you set it up for the first time, you get to choose a name for it. I just had to get a new iPod to replace my old one that was water damaged, so I was reminded of this today, and it got me wondering what everyone here names their iPod or other music device?

Since this is my second iPod, and I'm into SF at the moment, I named mine "Super Devlin's iPod Turbo Championship Edition: Hyper Fighting"
