This is easy people, Timesplitters IP + Cryengine = Win. It even gives Crytek their in to the console game that they want. And gives me an IP i'm intrested in as opposed to the last two Crysis games that gave me zero personality and lost me after the half way point.

Ninja man will die for my fashion needs. Hyped about the content, the GECK tools are pretty cool on the PC, but it's still early there, so there's nothing near the polish of what Bethesda is offering. Plus ten more levels is a welcome addition. I imagine the PS3 will get theirs in the future, probably in one big pack like they did with Oblivion. Bethesda isn't one to leave money on the table.

Be interesting to see how they incorporate a building mechanic into the game. I'd love to see you gain and lose parts as you do better or worse. So if you really suck, the stage set is wrecked into Lego pieces and your band is falling apart. Could be amusing.

I wonder how much this movie is budgeted at considering the Youtube style filming they went for. Statham probably ran the bill up a bit, but it will be interesting to see how this goes. I thought the first Crank was worthless, and barely funny in a bad way, but this trailer moves it into the ludicrous zone where I might actually enjoy it on a train wreck level.

The extra half a mil is probably people coming back and wanting to get up to see the new content, guys who had sleeping 70's. Also the economy is in the toilet, so indoor entertainment like movies and games become the more affordable choice. And I think WoW has proven to be a pretty good time sink.

They hit 13 million, that's when they flip the switch and the world ends in a Nerd-zombie-poclypse. Just saying.

DL'd the demo and loved it, but with so many other games out right now I've been slowly moving my way down a massive pile. Still, I'm going to get this game as the reviews have been great, and the friends I have that played it have said nothing but good about it. That said it should have been released earlier and pushed harder. Sony did this game no favors.

Huh, good on them. Doing a lot of gaming still on PC it's nice to know that some companies still have some sense to trust gamers (even when they really shouldn't). Now just announce all this coming to steam and I'll be perfectly happy.

Been tracking the Jasper for awhile so the info is good news. As far as I can tell the new 256mb on board is no doubt just so they can now have anyone use the NXE. Also as far as fixing the RROD, from the pic layout it would seem that MS went to a good amount of effort to try and dissipate the heat in this model on chips that are already said to run cooler. That said, there are still many other factors such as use and envoironment that could effect the system. If you're playing Gears 2 24/7 in a hot room with lots of dust, our old friend RROD could still rear it's ugly head. I'll wait for the holiday rush to clear out more Falcons before I go hunting for a new shiney 360.

As for ragging on sony for not making updates, they have tweaked the PS3 a number of times to cut costs, just not in ways that have seen an savings passed onto the consumer. A quick look at wiki will show sony has desperatly been tearing things out of thier system and making slight internal revisions. And as far as I know PS3 system failures aren't even a fraction of what 360's have been, so at least you have some assurance as to quality even from the launch machines. I own all 3 systems and so far I've had to send my 360 into repair for a crapped out DVD drive, and had 3 friends do the same for other problems and RRODs.

My Wii on the other hand is still running great...when it's actually running and not acting as a dust collector or an object of my ridicule.
