  • It did everything right. Pace, structure, music, graphics, animation and story were all meshed together. They story in it self was nothing new, but in it self the story was only an excuse to portray Nathan Drake, who is an illusively complex character. Not strange or mystic, but prodding those soft edges will reveal a rather rigid structure of morality.

  • The portrayer of the underdog, infamous, was perhaps not equally subtle when it came to character developement, but the teem showed that they knew what to focus on in this game. Thought I remember the city as mainly one colour ; grey, you were all the time served good challenges, and always wondered what was going to happen next! In aditions, Cole had one of the cooles superpowers ever in a game: Electricity!

  • The Batman game showed that you can have a proper structure even within an open environment. I loved everything about the game, except horrible bossfight., I mean really... what the f*** were they thinking?

  • Although most of this game really shines, all the character models look stiff as hell. Especially NPCs. Also the difficulty never really hovers over noob level, powers and items are given which you never use, the missions are unimaginative, and why the hell did abstergo go after it's most important asset with 5 men with sticks? But that's all the negative things I can say about this game, and you really need all of it to drag it down to 4th place.

  • Killzone is here because it really didn't do anything wrong. It got exactly what it amed for. Too bad this was horrible pacing (never a second of break time), mediocre characters (white- boy on extacy) and all the shades of gray you could pray for. However, it did all those things to such perfection, that I still loved it! AND, the environments are outsanding. Your eyes are being lead through the levels as if an expert photographer framed every shoot, there is little reusage of models and the AI is excellent.

  • Flower is really one of the best games of this year. It embodies the very idea, that you can tell a story without using words. It is number six, because while it has no faults that I can think of (except perhaps it being too short), it simply can't compete with the big boys for the number of merits.

  • PixelJunk Shooter gives you something new every level. But alas, there is no story to speak of. A level editor would have been oh so nice. Where is it? WHERE IS IT!

  • I guess.
