Brothers in Arms: D-day (supposed to be the worst Brothers in Arms game)
Chessmaster: The Art of Learning (that even sounds horrible!)
TMNT (based on the 2007 movie of the same name, you don't even have direct control of your character in this version, as opposed to the console versions which played like bad beat-em-up games)
Driver '76 (from reviews I've read it's supposed to be pretty dull)
Mobile Light Force (I don't even fucking know what that is!!!)
Last week was cool, what happened??? ... Thoughts and comments?
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2? Meh, I hear it's short and has no competitive multiplayer. But METAL GEAR SOLID??? DUDE, yes. Your thoughts or comments about this week's PSP PSN releases?
I just yesterday bought Miami Vice: The Game for PSP (is it on any other console?) I'm thoroughly enjoying it, it's very visceral, I like how the camera shakes when you run, and the atmosphere in general is pretty amazing, however, Ryan said in his review that it's "No longer than 6 hours." I guess you could say it's like Resident Evil 4 but better, I can totally hear the Resident Evil title screen guy saying Miami Vice.
While I was running the other day I saw this lady in, in a big truck, rear end this guy, in a sports car. I heard the man yell "What the fuck did you do!? You fucking idiot!" After that, I said to this elderly woman that happened to be walking by at the same time "Did you see that?" She said "Never a dull moment eh?" I said "what?" so the old lady had to repeat herself.
This weeks PSP PSN releases are awesome! We've got
Medal of Honor (P
S1)
Final Fantasy VII
Support for movie renting and downloading.
At this point what more could you want from the PSP's PSN? I mean, I guess Chrono Cross (that game got a 10/10 on GameSpot, just saying) and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1-4. I think it's awesome that I can watch my favorite Robot Chicken episodes anywhere, among MANY other shows. By the way how, exactly, will Medal of Honor work on the PSP? It's only got one analog stick, and the limited amount of control options for PS1 re-releases don't support the 'face buttons for camera movement' control scheme, unless they edited it.
I finished GUN: Showdown, and I've gotta say, it's the most exeedingly average game I've ever played. GUN has average shooting gameplay, slighty-shorter-than average run time (I beat the main story in about 5 hours), nice graphics with some glitches, but besides when performing missions, the game is very empty, and good a good story that is too rushed to be considered more than average. Review forthcoming, I think.
Just yesterday I decided to go to GameStop, because I figured "now would be the best time to get my brother a birthday gift since they've got this sale going on." Anyways, here's what I got. (No pics sorry.)
Gun Showdown
Def Jam: Fight for NY: The Takover (hooray for double colons!)
The Darkness
Star Fox Command (this is my brother's gift, despite the fact that it's used. XD Also, some asshole wrote "Austin" on the front of the box in permanent marker)
Harvey Birdman (beat it in 5 hours and 22 minutes, enjoyed it, review forthcoming)
Infected.
Keep in mind I said that I beat Harvey Birdman though, that was pretty much all I played all day, I thought it was funny, it was CERTAINLY worth the $9.99 I payed for it. I also played the first five missions in Gun Showdown, man, that game is fun! But there's not much else to do besides the main and the side-missions and some Quick Play minigames. Man, I guess everybody in the world stayed inside during the cowboy days...
