Hi guys. I remember playing this game (was on PC) 10-12 years ago, where it was a 2D game with very basic stick figure graphics, and you were running away from other stick figures. I remember there being ladders and blocks that disappeared that you can use to your advantage. I wanna say there might have been a level creator.

Edit: Found it. It was Lode Runner.

I heard he was still popular popular amongst Torontonians because of his policies such as cutting down on car taxes and such. Anyone have any insight into this?

Yes, they're lower than expected atm, but whether or not that's actually Ford's doing is up to debate.

He's still 'in power' because most in Toronto don't really care. Even with Ford, Toronto is still relatively well-run compared to other cities of a similar size in US.

They're not oblivious to what others think of their character design.

The overwhelming majority of the people who buy Blizzard's games don't give a shit, and they know that.

Hasn't crashed once for me yet.

I had a glitch where a helicopter I needed to get in spawned upside down and refused to land right side up. It was pretty hilarious.

Also unlike in a shooter, games Dota 'snowballs' pretty hard. So it's quite common that a team loses just because one person gave up a few early kills, and those kills gave the enemy team too big of an advantage. While its not impossible to come back from a disadvantage in dota, you need good team coordination and a good understanding of the game, which is just about the last thing that a new player would have in dota. This is why I never play dota without a 5-man team.

Clinkz is a good hero to start off with. Hits pretty hard and has a good escape (in beginner games). He's not nearly as good when you go up the ladder though. He's paperthin and invisibility gets easily countered when playing vs better players.

You'll probably hear more flaming as you progress higher. Beginners usually have very little map awareness, with everyone focused on their hero alone. More seasoned players will constantly look around the map to see what's going on, and if they notice you fucking up, get ready to get berated till no end. It doesn't help that in higher level games, one split second mistake could mean the loss of an hour long game.
