It's good to know that even though mod tools haven't been released yet, modders are fixing the mistakes of Bethesda. It's only going to get better once the mod tools get released in January. (Oblivion combat with the mod 'deadly reflex' produces combat gameplay much better than Skyrim. And I expect these modders to make Skyrim combat much better as well.)
Skyrim character. Permanent invisibility +30x sneak attack dmg and a bit of smithing. Even on hardest difficulty I kill most dragons in 1 hit and more powerful dragons in 2.
I find modding heavily in these games makes me not finish them, so if I mod anything it will be infinite inventory so I don't have to worry about being over-encumbered, as that's just a silly annoyance that has no gameplay value to me.
I don't understand why people hate encumbrance, its supposed to balance heavier armour and weapons. Also surely being able to pick up everything you see and sell it would unbalance how much money you should have?
Because it feels really artificial when you get over encumbered from an single extra arrow
I suppose. Maybe after you pass the weight limit the more you carry the slower you go?
And its much more likely for there to be a mod that adds that than for it to be in the vanilla game.
Write and rewrite each acronym and what they stand for. Writing stuff down repeatedly is a good way to drill it into your memory. It's how Chinese people memorize their characters.
@Kodo_Beast: because ive been playing those same heroes for years now! id like something new thats why i switched to LOL. dota 2 is litereally gonna be heroes of ewerth with new graphics.... everythign else is the exact same. how can new players jump in when everyone else will still be playing the same game for another 3 years?
Honestly, I think you're way overestimating the level of play of dota/hon pub players. Just play with the AI bot in dota that gets bonus exp/gold, so you don't get completely trashed on when you do a poor job. Once you're able to keep up with that AI, you'll completely outlane most people on pubs, (especially with so many idiots that think they can solo lane with a melee agi carry).
Piracy will bring down PC gaming, IMO. thats how i see it though
And yet PC gaming makes up for most of Activition's profit and then there's stuff like LoL and TF2. Obviously there are profitable business models out there. Companies just need to use them.
So is this game just Dota with nicer graphics? Seems like its the same heroes, same map, same powers, same items.... why would i switch to this then? With games like heroes of newerth and league of legends out they should try to innovate at least a little bit.....

Dota is best for what it is. HON is trying hard copy cat of Dota1 that has too many broken heroes. LOL is Dota for kids.
