Each Monday we'll be posting a video on Youtube.com/TheRealGiantbomb telling you guys what the interns will be focusing on for the week. If you didn't know, besides the normal duties of answering phones and making coffee, the interns have been busy making video for our YouTube channel. It's a small piece of larger community project we're working on.

Giant Bomb has always had a YouTube channel but we've never committed to managing it, until this summer. There are 4 big video view spikes on the chart on the right. From left to right the spikes represent the following intern created content pushes:

• Meta Game/ Fear Gauntlet
• Deus Ex
• BLLS Behind the scenes / Fear Gauntlet
• Gears 3

Later this year we'll be launching some game sites around specific game franchises. I'll be discussing more about that over on Google+. They'll be community driven and focused on helping people make and find great game play videos.

Giant Bomb Community Vs. Interns Fifa Match???

The GB YT channel is like some weird dark side to Giant Bomb that exists outside the main site. Maybe someone should stick Interns Perry and Dan on the auto-follow list so more members can see their Free 2 Play series? They both have less followers than I do, and that seems criminal.

Good luck with the mini-sites. I don't really get what they're about (some kind of video portal for a specific series?) but you'll find no lack of super-specialized fans on Giant Bomb for whichever franchises you choose to highlight. Start with those crazy dudes with 5000 wiki points on a single page.

Hmm Fifa coverage would be kind of cool but I kind of want coverage that is semi-serious so I can decide if I should rent it or not.

Complaining about more content that isn't forced upon you seems rather flame baiting.

Oh man, this is great. I especially love the FTP intern videos! :D

@ethan: Y'know... call me lazy, but it seems to me that... there should be a way for me to access ALL Whiskey content via your sites... I admit that I want to see the intern videos and other experiments, but I don't want to have to sift thru GB/Tested/Screened/CV/(and AV if I'm in an Anime mood) and THEN go check each of the sites YouTube channels (and look for only the videos that I haven't ALREADY watched on the sites), Facebook and Google+ (the last two I don't even have accounts on)...

There wouldn't be a way to serve up all that content thru one consistent place, would there?

Edit: Also please pester Dave that at least some of us would like a black site option on the other Whiskey properties. Thanks! :-)
