Not sure how sick people are of Kickstarter threads, but there is a pretty cool new card game on Kickstarter that is kinda like Magic: The Gathering. The thing that make it so cool is that you have to speak a language to cast spells, and everything is timed. Also, your deck is placed in a pimped out spell tome.
Everything that have shown so far seems pretty cool, and the included materials seems awesome enough to warrant a donation for nothing other than to keep their awesome spell tome on a shelf and look sweet.

That worries me a great deal. Civ Rev was a great game for people that knew nothing about Civ. For fans of Civ, it was awful. I would hate to see two XCOM games come out, and have neither appeal to the fan base of the original.
