@ivdamke: Thanks for the update. I'm super curious and have never played games like rust. closest thing i have played like that was minecraft on xbox 360 when it launched. This has my attention and the input of how i should find some friends to play with is good input! If i get it. Thanks again~

Do not raid a player named barnaid from the team Yotsuyama. Tested and confirmed multiple times at the cost of a lot of peoples LET IT DIE saves.

The bug is when you invade that player specifically one of his defense team will go down and unconcious for kidnapping. When you carry the body back to the train to capture his fighter the game will crash out to dashboard from the error saying that you must return to main menu. Then upon starting up the game again when you select start game you will recieve the connection error ERR-0-002 and it will ask you to return to main menu. Every time you start the game you will be notified that you left the game without using the menu. The game is no longer accessible at this point and will continue to have a connection error when you select start game.

The dev team is looking into it but no word on a fix any time soon. Some players have been locked out for upwards of 6 days.

If you accidentally raid him by not paying attention ( My friend did this last night after i was locked out of the game even with my warning) and their is a way to save yourself. Do not kidnap and capture the unconcious fighter. Go directly to the train to end the raid and you will still receive an error and crash the game. Except you will be able to log back in and that raid will count as a death and a failed raid.

I was on 4chan in 2008 and heard that some people were pissed about some guy named Jeff Gerstmann getting fired and mentioned he was starting his own website. I was like " I've visited gamespot before! I wonder if I would recognize Jeff and would I notice him not being on gamespot? Where has he gone from there? Do I even care about his website?" I google him and news relating to his situation sicne I'm a nosey bitch. Was curious to see what he looked like too. The stories were super interesting and I was like " What kind of content does his website have?" And I saw an i love mondays video and the theme song made me happy. I clicked through the videos and saw something about how to build a bomb and was like " I wonder if I could get more juicy details about whats going on from these videos. The first one was of Jeff forgetting his keys to the old office. It made me kinda sad but I wanted to see how the story turns out for what had suddenly become a real life soap opera for me. Obviously it wasn't as dramatic as I was expecting but the podcast made me laugh and the crew had me giggling. It wasn't until the Endurance Run of Persona 4 I had an intense urge to watch every single video content come out of the site. I was hooked from the moment they made a comment about that dudes huge nose.

I love this site and the people who are behind it. They make me feel like how i feel about every character in undertale after my first pacifist playthrough.

As a current gamestop employee things have improved a lot. Dunno about that special tho but yeah a lot of the info about gamestop has become history.

Trade in credit has gotten significantly better. $40 usually for trading in a game within a month of release. If you play it for about 4 weeks at release and sell it back it's like you rented it for $5 a week. Then with the card you get more so it's like $45 in credit.

Controllers get you almost $30 now. Most games get you about 1/2 of the used price. ( Considering that people can stack deals, they usually can knock off 1/3 of the price when they buy it. Simple math tells you that gamestop sometimes makes about a $6 profit on a used game the first month of release best case scenario.)

As for how they treat employees, that has gotten better but basically long time management hasn't gotten the memo and still are pretty brutal and archaic. Pay is still terrible. They have means to allow employees to change to a preferred name for trans employees and require all employees to use the preferred name. You know so if an employee is stealth trans and another employee refuses to use their preferred name it endangers their lives. As a result anyone who doesn't respect trans people can be terminated. Yet as I said some older management are pretty bad about stuff, and work against Gamestop policy resulting in real bad experiences for employees and customers. Like a month ago when a customer choked out an employee over the counter.

If one of you guys have not played Undertale I'd really like to see you guys experience it. I haven't played it myself but watching people play it I know it's a game of the year type of game. Also hearing spoilers and stuff made me reaaaaaaly want to see more of it especially with some giant bomb commentary.

You can sell the game back to gamestop (First month release of a $60 game trade in comes out to $40 trade in credit. $44 with the card bonus. Not to mention it removes the tax of that amount)

Most bundles are with new releases. Meaning if you don't care about the game but want a game with your console then $40 can be used towards another game that you actually want.

Not that gamestop is a good company or even that I think they will succeed in the long run but yeah figured that this seems to be a very specific situation where this is a positive for both gamestop and consumers.

Note that quiet can put wandering soldiers to sleep also without you finding them, as jeff said in the podcast, she took him out for jeff and he had to call in the dog to find the body. if you spot the wandering soldier and mark him then tell quiet to take the shot every wondering soldier is 0 problem. Also if your okay destroying heavy infantry ans riot gear people, her piercing sniper will kill everyone. Something I used on some of the boss fights. She can fuck up metal things right quick with that anti tank sniper rifle.

And Cover Me is by far a game changer, the second i get fed up sneaking through a base or some bullshit happens and im cornered while the enemy is flanking me I just tell her to cover me and then everyone is looking away from me trying to get to her now. Enough time for me to sneak up behind them and finish anyone off that she can't or isn't able to get; ( IE; using her as a distraction for tanks and riot gear peeps and fultoning them away while they close in on her.)

Also yeah she gives you a second chance at stealth. If you dont give her orders and perch her nearby she follows you and shoots anyone who spots you. so play sneaky and when you get caught shes basically a " hey, hes asleep now, give it another shot. No one has to know you screwed up"

@conmulligan: Polygon is pretty great in my book, even if you never read the articles. Their video content is comparable to giant bomb sometimes. You can tlel they are stealing ideas from Giant Bomb and to me that's okay because it's like im getting a second serving of quicklooks.

@alexw00d: Fun Fact: Movies with well written females or people of color are better received critically. I don't think it's because of good writing for females or people of color though, but having those characters written well is a sign that the creator of said movie is good at writing and doesn't default to women are objects to give the viewers emotions and people of color are criminals or not as human. The default is women are their to be romanced or killed to make the viewer feel emotion or people of color are angry, tough and animalistic ie not human. As Patrick says you can enjoy a medium while still thinking about it critically. I enjoy movies but I can tell when they are written by someone who has unconscious preconceived notions about gender or race. Also Fuck Micheal Bay.

@Mike: Is their a female character in ground zeroes?? I hear everyone is using that one black dude from ground zeroes with aviators as he is the only playable character with glasses and he looks hella cool. I didnt rescue everyone. Just hideo and a handful of others. Also i can confirm that they do get better, the character list has them listed by how high their combat rating is. At first my character was in the middle of the list, now she is at the top just below snake. I wasn't sure if it was because maybe some of my characters had died or something but now it makes sense.
