Games I've played in 2018 - New and Old
Let's try this again!
Let's try this again!
Playing through the GOTY edition, doing story missions once and moving on. The going back into missions and going for 100% mastery aspect of this game just isn't for me, but we'll see if I'm itching to go back once I've done all the main hits.
I'm on a Hitman kick. Silent Assassin is ROUGH to go back too. Contracts was my fave - still debating if it holds up.
After falling off this game back in 2015, now I'm on my second playthrough this year. Bloodborne has gone from being one of my least favorite souls to one of the best of all time. Some might say that it's too simplified from Dark Souls but I think this is Souls refined to sheen. The action is faster and more engaging. I love the trick weapons - they are all unique and cool as heck. Also, I thank this game for getting me into the Lovecraft mythos. Gotta love that sweet cosmic horror.
It's very good.
Thanks Massive Alex
If I play more than one run at a time I get angry at it or myself and end up sort of hate-playing which is not healthy. I've also hit a wall where I've gotten to the final boss a few times now and keep getting bodied really fast without doing any damage. Even the Time Keeper is giving me problems when they hadn't before. Despite this, I keep coming back to it and as it's been said to hell already - the game/action feel is amazing.
