So glad I went into this blind. Between this and my replay of Journey yesterday, it's been a contemplative couple of days.
Just as some people paint to feel calm, write poetry that no one will ever read, or woodwork just because it feels good, more and more people are finding that making games offers a unique sort of pleasure. Just ask the million folks building levels in Mario Maker.
This bit stuck with me. I'll be thinking about this game and review for some time. Cheers Austin.
Edit: Given that Coda the person is probably fictitious, how goddamn talented a game designer is Wreden that he can design levels which seem so obviously made by someone else, while also (perhaps incorrectly) displaying the changing mindset of said fictitious person?
