  • Saying that this fine gem isn't a Rpg is irrational, it is every bit of one and more -it is an evolution of the rpg genre if you will- backing it up with some fantastic third-person shooting elements that rivals the best of the best. What makes Mass Effect 2 a great game isn't the story that is thrown at you per se (although it is interesting and sets it up for part 3), but rather a compilation of all the side stories and characters that go with the territory that you see along the way.

With it being an evolution of Rpg genre it is also an a progression of video games as whole. The game's third act is sublime, never have I had a videogame take out a raw emotional feeling from me, but ME2 does that and more.

Mass Effect 2 is an imperfect masterpiece.

  • Sweet mother of stomping heels; this thing has the most beautiful, rewarding, flat-out awesome gameplay I've ever played in a character-action game.

  • I was pretty skeptical on how this game would turn out, and even like most people; I thought that this was going to be a pure multiplayer experience. I'm glad I was wrong as this game has every thing I loved about Assassin's Creed 2 and expands on it; even addressing many of the second game's gameplay problems.

  • Its as if Sergio Leone and Morricone reunited one last time to deliver us this beautiful Western. It'll make any film lover of the Western genre have an orgasm all on all cylinders. This is quite possibly Rockstar's best game and easily one of the best stories videogames has to offer (that ending!)

  • God of War is my favorite franchise, its that simple. So I'm very pleased that this game delivers beyond my expectations. I have my complaints, sure, but a game that lets me battle a fucking titan is okay in my book.

  • The best First-person Shooter of this generation. I'm a single player guy, I rarely touch multiplayer, but this game is too damn good to ignore.

  • Now, I've never played God Hand but I have a feeling that I might enjoy it. As punching a robot's head off is one of the most enjoyable things I've done all year in a videogame. Extraordinary gameplay.

  • I don't play racers much anymore, I find them more frustrating than fun. But Criterion sure knows how to craft a great racer, and this one is a ton of fun.

  • O_o

  • I don't really like Lara Croft games, which is weird since I love action-adventure games and platformers. But with the games great top down look and excellant gameplay, I'm starting to become a fan.
