The first 3 episodes of Jojo are damn near perfect and is hell of an entrance to anime in general for somewhere, can't wait for the first ep and to do my own rewatch.
As someone who has never seen a full Silent Hill game besides speedruns, and also isn't much of a horror fan, this was a blast! I was with Jan and the plot seemed like kinda total nonsense for a while there, but in a way I kinda enjoyed? I dunno, the confusion I felt seemed to enhance the "mood". Totally down for you to do more.
Also, wow, people did NOT overstate how good that soundtrack is. Some real bangers and also good mood pieces, incredible stuff.
@lemonator: This is the only one of these besides Daniel Craig I was familiar with, bummed to see it omitted if only because I'd love to hear some history... why.
My favorite thing about the Sentai versions of these episodes is that when the Green Ranger breaks into the Megazord he literally yells "Go to Hell!" before he blows them up. It rules!
As silly as it is, I can't actually say enough how important that single Bombcast thumbnail has been to my life. It's, in a way, responsible for me finally taking time to chase my dream of making music and other stuff! It's really exciting and it's all because of these darn VTubers.
Not gonna lie, I never got into any of the discourse around Firewatch because I ditched the game after my first session.
I felt like I had been pitched a sort of mystery game with some fun dialogue (they mostly showed the thing with the teens at the lake IIRC), but instead got a thing about early onset dementia thrown at me the start the game which I really didn't need. It, admittedly, hit a little too close to home at the time, but also it's my absolute least favorite storytelling device of throwing a bunch of personal tragedy at you right of the bat (a very Pixar move, i.e. Up). It always just feels emotionally manipulative and I don't think I've ever enjoyed a story that did it, you gotta make me care about the characters first before you do that.
