The worst part is that if NFS dies then the racing genre is basically dead although it pretty much already is.

This comment makes no sense. There are plenty of racing and AAA racing games out there and coming out in the future, enough to the point where NFS doesn't need to matter.

Trials of frustration. I've begun saying this at the beginning of every MGSV episode. I think MGS4 was the best Drew ever performed in the Metal Gear Scanlon series. I'm hoping he'll have a better time here when he finally reaches the better half of the upgrade trees. Thankfully, Drew is a highly fortunate person and also a 'right place right time' person as well when it comes to this game(The mission he did featuring Sahaelanthropus was proof enough).

What has become common and what to expect in this series:

Dan saying 'I don't know' or 'I'm not sure' to a lot of common game mechanics he should have done hundreds of time in a game that he has supposedly put over 100 hours in, and I don't mean the stuff that the game doesn't tell you like the boxes for wandering mother base soldiers or sliding(which somehow those things he remembers more of).

Dan saying 'Oh just go to the menu and select return to ACC' every single time they are on mother base. Every. Single. Time.

Drew on the cusp of discovering something amazing(whether a very useful game mechanic or otherwise) and then immediately becoming distracted by Dan's "I bet this would be cool to do" routine, to which afterwards, he forgets what he was about to do in the first place.

Jason being the actual helpful voice in telling Drew about important and very helpful Side Ops(Legendary Gunsmith) and mechanics/gameplay features. It makes me think Jason should have been in the room this whole time instead of Dan. Don't get me wrong, Dan has been extremely helpful with the past MGS games because, this is key, he's played them dozens of times. I think that's the difference here in how he remembers stuff compared to Jason, who probably remembers important stuff in MGSV because it's still fresh in his mind.

Drew very rarely playing tapes(which at this point they might as well just play all of them back to back at the end of the series as a sort of summary or debriefing to the entirety of this game's story).

For those who've read this, just understand that I'm not upset at how Drew plays. He actually plays really good given the cards he's been dealt(Not being informed of basic mechanics and being distracted by 'cool guy stuff'). If anything, I'm just worried that he leans a little bit too much on Dan's guidance, when honestly, Jason is the better guide. I could honestly see Dan accidentally leading drew to the front of a tank's barrel or off of a cliff in certain parts of Africa by placing a marker icon in the wrong spot on his app. That's what scares me.
