I don’t know why I assume Jeff would be the one who has maybe got some hands-on time with Returnal, but if he did, I hope he drops by Beastcast to talk about it, since some form of embargo seems to have lifted.
The thing about Witches of Brigmore and Dishonored 2 that bothered me was that you basically repeat the ending of the DLC with Delilah in the sequel. Just felt like such an odd recycled content moment for me. Never did play the DLC for two and now it feels like it's been too long since I played the main story and I don't feel like going back to it.
Anyway, I sure hope we'll get to know what game Alex's talking about, once we're niering the weekend.
I don't know what it would be, but I feel like there should be some type of punishment anytime anyone stops a shitty music video from playing before it ends. Hearing the whole crew (or at least some of them) groan while those play were some of the parts of Demo Derby, whenever a disc happened to have a video or two.
Stopped playing when they thought it'd be a good idea to put a Battle Toads-esque turbo tunnel into the game, which alone already sucks, but it sucks even more with this game's bright visuals going at a fast pace and actually made my eyes hurt.
In the same boat with Vinny. Liked it a bunch, but some parts dragged, even for a game that's only about 3-4 hours long. The ending was worth the slow parts though.
Watched that Tom Cruise thing just now and it's pretty scary how convincing it looks. I guess I shouldn't be personally worried just yet, because the only video footage of me out there consists of me just walking past some security cameras and I doubt that's enough to get a good deepfake going. But I have to imagine it's going to be a problem for someone sooner or later.
