I played the game today and I must say the reviews being posted are very subjective and personal. There is a lot of personal bias based on this game because it does some things differently, adds some things, but at its CORE it is a third person shooter with other stuff added.... I personally loved it. Thats the thing, the word 'personally' but see reviewers should try to avoid this, but, theyre not. Some say the tv show acting is bad? no im sorry, remember night trap, phantasmagoria, they were bad. the production value on this game is through the roof and no matter how you look at it, that DOES add to the flavour the immersion and the overall fun when you play and watch. It IS a fun game, I really cant see a reason to say its not, for that reason, no, it does not deserve such a meagre score.
you also must look at metacritic and see that right now, 21 of the 61 or so positives are 90 or more scores, thats a third..... thats most definately USUALLY the case for a high grade game and one that is fun.
It might not be for everyone, BUT youll probably have fun playing. There may be a handful that this just doesnt appeal to at all.
Dont not buy a game because of one or 2 reviews, look on youtube, listen to some other gamers, I loved it.
but hey, I love a good story....... and I also, am not too keen on gta5 (although I appreciate why people like it)
