@petefic: I forgot to mention, my point of view is "I don't own a ps4". I'm on PC, most of my "community" doesn't enjoy COD multiplayer, WW2 was enough to make all of us play the campaign. But that just might be a small sample size that I'm leaning on.
I think Jeffs take on COD is kind of off. He is heavily underestimating the amount of people who just play the singleplayer and then check out a bit of the multiplayer and are done. As well as he saying that people didn't like the WW2 singleplayer and that might be a reason. I guess we live in two different realities then, that was way better then the futuristic ones. And I see most people agreeing with me.
I'm still astonished by how much people talk trash about the Overwatch E-sports view. It's absolutely fine, from day one I thought it wasn't as bad as people said, and since then, with all the changes blizzard made, it's now pretty great to watch. Jeff always said he doesn't even like Overwatch, he saying he doesn't know where the match is at each time, means it's a not knowing the map thing, I guess that might be the problem for people who don't play the game. But again, it would be the only problem, and I don't even play ovw for months.
@jinxplayer: In 1994 Nintendo proclaimed "The Year of the Cartridge". It was when devs started putting powerful chips inside the cartridge to increase it's memory limitations helping the console run better graphics and more variety of music, and they announced the N64. It wasn't random.
