@jazz: Yeah, the thing about Vi is that she has super strong burst with a fully charged Q, autoattack (pretty much instant after the Q hits), E (to proc the W Armor shred), Ult, auto attack, e again, autoattack again for another W proc. I'd be happy to join you guys for a game or two, I'm Helicopterspy on the NA server.

Fiddlesticks Jungle is pretty strong, but I don't know that I would recommend starting with him for your first venture in the jungle. Most junglers are tanky/fighter types, whereas he's a super squishy mind-game style jungler. The meta in the jungle these days is all about scrapping and Fiddlesticks will just get blown up by someone like Vi or Lee Sin. The updates to the tanky jungle item Spirit Of The Ancient Golem has really brought tank junglers back to being viable, so that's probably your best bet to start with. The problem is that they're in the process of nerfing a lot of strong junglers in the last few patches. Amumu is definitely where most people start, though I think someone like Vi or Jarvan IV will get you further.

Personally, I think Vi is one of the strongest junglers out there right now. Her build path is so good too. Spirit Of The Elder Lizard and Brutalizer is enough to give you damage while you build some durability, then turn the brutalizer into a Ghostblade, see the SotEL for a trinity force late game and you're golden. Nocturne is also a lot of fun. He clears camps insanely quickly thanks to his passive and his ganks with his ultimate are crazy strong and you can engage from a damn mile away. Try a Spirit of the Elder Lizard, Blade Of The Ruined King build and you'll be able to take down just about anybody, tanks included.

This is making me wanna go jungle now.

I've never really played WoW, but unlike Dan I have dabbled in MMOs before. That said, I made a free character on Aerie Peak think I'm like level 10 now, like I'm sure many of us did. I'd be up for playing with some Giant Bombers.

Oh, Ziggs. If you want the other midlaner to hate you (you do!) pick Ziggs. He's about as strong as traditional midlaners get.

Jayce is one of my favorite champs, but be careful as he's fairly technical. He starts with a point in his "ult" at level 1, but it's just a transformation between melee and ranged. That means that you have to juggle 6 spells instead of the usual 3 and an Ult. Elise and NIdalee are the same way. I think those champs are super fun to play, but it can be hard, in the heat of battle, to remember your positioning and get all your damage off. His full damage combos start to look like MK strings or something, if you're up for a challenge though, go for it.

It's cool that you picked up TF in League. He was one of my first favorite champions, too. Picking the right cards when under the pressure of an Ulti-gank is one of the hardest things you can do in League, so don't get discouraged if you port in with a blue card popped. Hell, a former pro, Reginald (founder, former midlaner for TSM, the most popular team in the counrty) became so famous for doing it that it's often called "Pulling a Regi"

Also, Xerath is a super weird champ. In order to play him effectively, you have to not only place your skillshots well, but you also have to know when to throw them out. I mean, I guess that's true of all skill shots, but Xerath suffers from it worse than most. You have to be able to farm and harrass with your Q at the same time, you have to get the bonus damage/slow from the sweet spot of W, you have to know that the longer the E travels, the longer it stuns. His ultimate is also really easy to dodge if you use it wrong. However, when you use all that right, you're unstoppable. I like Xerath kinda a lot.

Lately, I've been jungling a lot, which isn't something you do in bot games and it's probably the most intimidating role to a new player. With the latest patch though, they added jungle buff spawn timers, so there's never been a better time to learn.

Vice President Joe Biden's at the game. The US keeps getting hurt like this, they're gonna have to bring him in.

I'm worried that they're going to hew too much to MK4. I mean, the story of MK9 was certainly headed that way, but they also seem to be bringing back those bonebreaker moves. That armpit uppercut from Scorpion I think was lifted straight from 4. Also, Sub Zero snapping off a branch and using it as a weapon seems a lot like the weapons in 4 and the sorta lame stage moves from Injustice. I'm sorta worried about this one.

Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac are interesting choices. After seeing Drive and Inside Llewyn Davis, I'm convinced Oscar Isaac can do anything.

Edit: Oh damn, John Boyega is the kid from Attack The Block. That's so awesome.

I loved Act Raiser and Soul Blazer and I remember being super excited to play this game. The first two are some of my favorite games of the era, maybe ever. That said though, I remember nothing about the other two, i don't even think I played Terranigma. I should probably clear out some time and go back, right?

The music in this game is incredible. I still think about the music in the laboratory stage from time to time. It looks great and plays great too. Love this game.
