This reminds me of Arkham Horror, an awesome co op card game, turned into a video game. It being kinda similar being a rogue campaign, character stats, character injuries/curses, items, the combat, having a set of locations to explore, and even time limits with the doom counter mechanic . If you even remotely like this, I highly recommend playing Arkham Horror if you can find it on Tabletop Simulator.

Hmm I would wonder if this game has a machete item in it...

Oh boy! Now I that Ben mentioned it Guilty Gear does have that Bastard! influence. I remember watching that anime and how it was the first anime that I watched that incorporated rock by having one main protagonists had spells named after rock songs like "Guns and Rows." Too bad the series never was completed.

You can disable doggie death in the options just like Wargroove.

I like the engineer. It's sort of weak in the beginning, but late game the turrets are monsters. The problem is the limited charges. You can't increase them so you'll have to rely on getting a bandolier for instant cooldown drops. Once you get some fungus healing, sunglasess , leech seeds or attack speed items, you'll see the power of the turrets to really shine. They become two extra players.

Looking at the banner, I'm just imagining the cast having looks of concern and fear of "King" Vinny growing madness.
