I was a big fan of Ibuki from the SF 3 series so it would be awesome to see her return. There are a variety of other characters mainly from the Alpha series that would be awesome in the game, but most of them are better left there I suppose.

Going to get my copy of the game today, very excited!

I'm still playing games from last year, but the only reason being is that the newer games that I'm interested in aren't coming out until mid-late Feb. Right now I'm still enjoying Fable 2 and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (which came out 2 years ago I think...).

I'm looking out for Dragon Quest V (possibly the best in the series), Fire Emblem:Dragon Sword and Street Fighter IV.

Suffice to say, the latter half of Feb, will be a good time for gaming!

I wouldn't call myself a fighting game fanatic, but I am a huge fan of the street fighter series and its the only game that I've ever tried to fully master. I've been enjoying the series ever since SFII and to see most of the original roster brought back to a fully vibrant life is amazing and gratifying. I'm not sure of the other major releases of 2009, but I hope to say that SFIV will be my game of the year for 2009.

Other games I'm looking forward to are Fire Emblem: Dragon Sword, Final Fantasy XIII which I'm not sure will come out this year or not, Halo Wars and Halo Recon. Also there are a few story expansion things happening in Final Fantasy XI that I'm looking forward to.

2009 will be a good year for quality games.

Since I haven't had much experience with the PS3 I can't comment too much about it so I guess my thoughts are slightly biased.
 
In the case of advancement though, I feel that the Nintendo Wii has surpassed the PS3 in terms of what it brings to the table. Perhaps not graphically as there is really no comparison there; PS3 is the definative winner there. The Wii not only brings forth great gaming content like zelda, metroid and mario (not to mention Super Smash Bros), I feel it has better downloadable content when it comes to full games available. The Virtual Console has a memorable set of games, a few of which I never had the chance to play when I was younger. This is only one of the things Nintendo has done well with its system. Their other major focus seems towards the introduction of videogames to a larger variety of demographic. Good ol' grandma might not like the guns blazing, grenade chucking great time of Call of Duty 4 but will be far less lenient when picking up a wii-mote to play some virtual golf, or to do some easy exercises using Wii Fit.
 
In this regard and many more I think the Wii has done a better job than the PS3 in advancement. Having said that, I predict great things for the PS3, we haven't seen the last of it. Sony is capable of great things and they generally have some bite behind their bark with games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance highlighting their game roster. Their network and trophy system as also a great touch as far as personalization goes. PS2 was probably one of my favorite systems to date and it sucks that  I cant play all of my great PS2 games on the newer versions of PS3 (at least thats what I'm understanding). That is my biggest gripe with the PS3, otherwise I think its a great system with many possibilites.

I can only imagine what the future will bring for these two systems and I'm sure that in the next two years we will see jaw dropping moments on both platforms.

Hi everyone,

Its that time of year when the best releases of games show their greatest among the endless stream of midterms that plauge us students. As I go further into my Pharmaceutical education I'll try to post alot of stuff about the games that I like.

I recently purchased a three month Xbox Live Gold Membership (which should be free) so I'll be looking forward to playing Ace Combat 6 and other games with you all.

I currently am playing Lost Odyssey which is a great RPG so far.

I'm going to keep it simple for my first blog (most likely since I'm still a noob to all this blogging stuff). Just wanted to say that it truly is great to be here on this awesome site. Seeing familiar faces around here brings back good memories about games and good times that will come in the future as well!

I'll always blog about what I'm currently playing so, here it is!

Ninja Gaiden II and Final Fantasy XI; drop me /tell if any one here plays ffxi i'm on the [fenrir server with the character name Sasune.] I'm having a bit too much fun with NGII so i play it in short bursts! I also am playing quite a bit of Puzzle Quest, which is just so addicting!
