@nophilip: I've just wrapped up Deadhouse and started Memories of Ice myself. The series clicked for me somewhere half way through Deadhouse and I've come to really appreciate Eriksons way of world building and faith in the reader to puzzle things out for themselves as you go along .

The first book was really tough for me to complete because I was afraid I wouldn't get any answers but luckily I was wrong and now I really take my time even rereading chapters from the first books incase I missed some detail is some offhand comment made casually in a conversation somewhere. I also have the maps ready on my tablet to visualize where characters are traveling and locations where things are taking place. It's no surprise hearing what Eriksons past profession was when you look at the incredibly detailed world with rich history of civilizations spanning over hundreds of thousands of years

I'm in the same boat. But I guess I should have looked more into it before blindly buying into the hype, cause the problems are much what made me dislike AC series. Slow deliberate movements that make it look good but falls apart for me when the way it tries to fluidely read where you wanna go and do with minimal button presses doesn't work. The nemesis system is okay but I guess I feel it gets old really quick for me. Then there is the setting that just makes everything look hellish and depressing with nothing really impressive in the scenery.

Godspeed Vinny, glad you're not leaving GB atleast. But I beg you please still be on the bombcast, it would be a huuge loss if you weren't. I'd take laggy skype Vinny over no Vinny any day.

I can't help to think Phil Fish is becoming the Kanye West of video games to me.

Started off as Sam B, but my coop partner already picked him so I went with Xian instead. I loved the electric shock mods for the blades so I have no regrets. Might try out Logan for another playthrough so I have more variety in what weapons I use,

I'm a norwegian, and I didn't even know Coop sold games.

Same here. Besides, I haven't seen many fingers pointed towards video games after the attacks before this. I don't think coop not selling games anymore is a loss for either them or us consumers.

They are gamers of course, but probably the most boring ones you can come across.  Why anyone would limit themselves to one sort of game is beyond me.

Couldn't finish Penumbra due to being a chicken, but bought this in hopes I had grown a pair since then. Oh boy, how wrong I was. This is probably the scariest game I've played, but for some reason I have to continue.
