Theres a super cool Waystones mod that I've been playing with for multiplayer. It basically adds small obelisk that functions similar to a Diablo style way point. It's a crafted item that you place down and you can travel between each one discovered. It also adds warp scrolls that are essentially town portals, except bound to an obelisk (or, if enchanted, any obelisk in your network). Not here to make recommendations, there's just so many small ways to add to vanilla Minecraft without going ham on mods.

Thanks for the video Alex! I've been wanting to jump back into Civ after I fell off with V, which I found to be too radically different from IV. This seems like a good time to jump in after a couple expansions and a little bit of seasoning. The franchise is currently on sale on Steam and FYI to any prospective buyers that may already have the base game: if you buy Gathering Storm it includes all the added mechanics from Rise and Fall, though you'll miss out on the additional civilizations and wonders.

I have a wired ModMic I use with my AT M50x's and it's a great set up. Easy to swap to my Philips SHP9500 if I want (usually only use the open can's when I'm solo because they may as well be speakers)

Omg the Sims is so insane. I know the question is always, well what about the Sims 5? But we're at peak Sims 4 right now.

Minecraft Bedrock is crossplay between Switch/Xbox/Mobile/PS4.

PS4 is the late adopter (surprise surprise) having just become crossplay enabled this past December.

Minecraft Java still receives updates and is the PC platform of choice because of the incredible modding community. In Bedrock you need in game currency (Minecoins) to buy what you essentially get for free via mods on Java (skins, maps, etc.). Also in Java previous versions of Minecraft are readily available so mods that aren't updated to the current game version are still playable without issue.

My three kids prefer Java even when playing vanilla.

The Barnes-Kobe clip looks like he fakes right at Kobe's face but a different angle shows he's faking it well to the right of Kobe. Still incredible that he was totally unfazed but it's not quite as dramatic as it looks.
