I dont know what your tastes are, but i really loved Divinity: Original Sin. So if you want a deep CRPG with an awesome soundtrack I would suggest playing that. Though since it is a turn-based CRPG it does take alot of time, i think it took me around 85 hours to complete. But i loved every minute of it. Also you can play it coop, which i did.
No One Lives Forever was amazing when it came out. It seems to have been forgotten by most. This was my favorite game when i was young. I recently played through Wolfenstein: The New Order, and i got some of the same feeling from it (- the humor), just a great FPS single player experience that take you on a globetrotting adventure that doesnt take itself to serious. The second one was also really good. I wish there were more of these types of games. Hope Monolith will make a third one (Contract J.A.C.K doesnt count), but i think there is some IP copyright confusion, so it'll probably (sadly) never happen.
I've been living alone the last few weeks, every night when i go to sleep i put on an old podcast with Ryan to keep me company while falling asleep. Just hearing him talk about random stuff is kinda comforting. I miss him... He was such a funny dude(er).
