The one game that is the least like the console games, but also the one I enjoyed playing the most. As 2D side-scroller, Discovery has nice feeling platforming with good controls and great animation. While the Combat is only decent, the counter block mechanic is still rewarding.
The first Assassin's Creed handheld game to try and fit the console experience into a handheld. While the game does not work on many levels, the game still has enough of what made the early Assassin's Creed games good to make the game not a complete wash, namely the rhythmic and challenging combat.
The first handheld Assassin's Creed, and also the worst by a large margin. ACAC has a top down 3D view with the platforming and swordplay found in all the games. With awful and frustrating platforming and dead easy combat however, very little enjoyment can be found here.
