@Vonocourt: It's my least favorite of the Song of Ice and Fire series, but I still really enjoyed it. My biggest problem was that a majority of the characters who I wanted to read about, like Arya, Tyrion, Jon and Bran, were left for A Dance With Dragons, so I basically wanted to get through it as quickly as possible so that I could get to ADWD. The Jaime, Brienne and Samwell chapters were really the highlights for me.

@LTSmash: Glad to hear that! Into the Wild is one of my favorite books so I figured I'd check out Krakauer's other stuff, and so far I'm really liking Into Thin Air.

I mentioned this in the other topic, but this happened to me on Episode 4. The game started me back at Episode 1 and saved over my game. Just to see what would happen, I started the game up on that save file and chose Episode 4 from the menu and all of my decisions were still saved somehow and I was able to play through it just fine. So, before you go giving up on the game, try loading up the save that got overwritten, choose Episode 5 and see if your choices are still there. I believe this has worked for others as well. Hope you get to play the last episode!

So, this happened to me when I started Episode 4. I loaded up the game, pressed on Episode 4 and it started me back at Episode 1 and saved over my game. I went back and loaded Episode 4 on that save file just to see what would happen and it turned out that somehow my decisions were still there so I was able to play through the episode without starting the whole game over. I would try that before you give up and see if it works.

Don't get me wrong, this is really good at what it's doing, but I wouldn't go around comparing it to regular games. It just doesn't see fair to me.

I find myself agreeing more with this. It's probably my favorite story of the year, but not GOTY. The actual "playing" of the game wasn't really that great to me. Often times I found myself just wanting to skip over the gameplay portions so I could get to a cutscene and make some difficult choices.

Here's my pumpkin carving for this year. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Oh man, I have to admit, I was worried about this season but man did they start things off on a high note. Even though we don't see much of her, I like the casting of Michonne so far. Seemed like there were a few more prisoners than there were in the comics.

I was skeptical at first, but I'm really liking what 343 is bringing to Halo 4. I too would agree that join-in-progress, and even killcams, are a welcome addition to Halo. I always hated waiting for my friends to end a game when there were open spots on their team.
