Well, personally. I ONLY played the second one. And i liked it. I think that the main critiscm behind it, was more that it was SO radically different from Origins than that it was actually a bad game. It reminded me of a medieval version of Mass Effect. Sorta. I mean, voicable protagonist, great cast and characters. (I still maintain that Dragon Age 2 did the best job with companions ever in a video game) I will say that i felt the game shoulda ended with the second act. I think that it continued on because of Fable III (Fable 3 announced that they were showing the next stage in the classic adventure. THe life after you become king. I think DA2 added in a new Act 3 in order to show that type of thing) ANYWAY, my point is this, i only played the second one, and because of that i liked it. Just know that the systems between the two games are highly different.
That's my two cents. I still haven't played DA:O...
Mass Effect 3. I remember thinking throughout playing it that this game was perfect. Well, at least, up until the last five minutes. But honestly, other than those five minutes, ME3 was a complete masterpiece. Before that, i'd give it to Skyrim
