I sold GTA IV a while ago after not having played for a couple of years. I enjoyed what I played at the time but never finished the campaign, and never had as much fun as in previous GTA titles.

I bought the game when it was on sale with both DLC packs for $15 on PS+, going back I had even more trouble with the combat, low camera while driving, and the issue with restarting missions. The thing that turned me off completely was when the Friendship system kicked in. Like the Fitness system in GTA: San Andreas before it, it's a tedious mini-game that you have to preform or suffer negative in game concequences. I want to go back to see what people say is a great "trilogy" story with the DLC, but it can be frustrating to play.

That's poor reasoning. The "conversation about gun control" has nothing to do with soldiers or military operations. These weapons will continue to exist and be used the world over. I'd much rather see real weapons with realistic handling then a bunch of kock-off toys in the future.

Sitting with the last fight left between me and the Platinum. I did the Charge routine for Lady Comstock. It's so stupid how you can kill her in less than a minute with that, but it's almost impossible any other way I tried. I had to backtrack and run all over Colombia to make up the $1100 difference I needed to purchase both Charge upgrades.

I had such an easier time on my first playthrough on Hard. I got the gear the buffs your Shield regeneration, without it I feel crippled.

Edit: Just finished it! @oldirtybearon has the right tip. You can hop on most Zeppelins and destroy them by hand, saving Song Bird for the Patriots.

Just installed 1.02 on my PS3. Can't find much for patch notes, haven't noticed anything yet. Continuing my 1999 run (damn Lady Comstock).

@daveyo520: The erroneous bold formatting is annoying, you can fix it though.
Surprisingly it wasn't really spoiled, all I knew was underwater city, magic left/weapon right, Andrew Ryan blah blah, and that there was a big twist. I've enjoyed both games immensely.

@daveyo520,@Agnogenic: Thanks for the information. I do have that trophy but plan on tracking down most of them again to help in 1999 mode. Well then, I'll probably spring for the season pass.

Also on my second playthrough I used the Marksman control configuration (PS3) and really liked it. Just wanted to recommend it. Played the free copy of BioShock (first time; awesome!) first and had a few issues with the controls. I'm happy there are so many options for the gamepads in Infinite.

@starvinggamer: All of the Fusion upgrades as well, simultaneously? A good boost at the beginning if so.
