I downloaded another 2k sports game for one of those Game Pass weeklies, and I think it also did that "video, followed by still cut-ins over gameplay" kind of tutorial they're enjoying here with Gulak.
Dan seeks full comprehension of concepts from the very beginning. He's not satisfied with holding a basic idea (e.g. moving dots and lines to signify oxidation) and letting the details fill in later on. He needs to visualize it "as it exists in reality." Like eating a large pizza in one bite. This impatience sometimes gives the impression that he doesn't know a lot, but I'd much rather learn a concept from Dan (after he's fully digested it) than most of my high school teachers.
Anway, I love Target Earth, too. Way back in the day I traded off attempting stages with a friend. I distinctly remember said friend not getting into the landing ship in mission 3 on time (despite my urging) because he wanted to hang out and kill enemies for points, then got defensive about it when the ship left without him and he burned up in atmospheric re-entry.
Between the constant Xbox friend requests and the chat going COMPLETELY NUTS (my browser started glitching out from how fast it was moving), Alex was basically an actual rock star this stream.
