RE6 is four campaigns with each individual ranging from mediocre to god awful. It takes like 40 hours to complete, and none of it is that enjoyable.

In Brazil, Altered Beast is commonly referred to as o jogo bonita, or the beautiful game. Every year thousands of people come out wearing fabulous and bizarre costumes during the celebration known as Carnival, held in honor of the beloved Genesis Classic.

What if we made an objective where you had to fly around and collect several things and then bring them back to a point?

Okay good idea, anything else?

....

Eh, I'm sure we'll come up with something else later.

Timespinner looks so much like Order of Ecclesia that it really blurs the line between homage and rip-off to me. The characters attack animations and the weapons system are nearly identical.

@chacobo: DmC did a cool thing where you could switch weapons mid combo. So you could do attack, attack, pause, hold right trigger attack, causing you to finish up your sword combo with a big axe attack. Of course in practice, this just meant you could get out those big strong slow attacks during the hit stun from quicker attacks, with little other practical use. It was still a cool concept though.

Too bad the enemy design completely discouraged you from doing anything creative with it. Thanks shields and color coded enemies. Also I'm pretty sure the zoom in and slow down on beating the final enemy was taken from Bayonetta anyway. I like it because it lets you know when an encounter is over, rather than standing there like an idiot until an enemy just off-screen shoots you. (Just replayed through DMC3, this happens a good bit.)

That chapter 6 stuff in Red Dead that both Dan and Alex seemed not to like were some of my favorite parts of the game. Fantastic character building, and the missions were fun and interesting.

Calling it now, Dan is going to quit the game after doing the epilogue cow milking tutorial.

Also ten minute drives between starting a mission and doing the mission is a Rockstar staple. I enjoyed it way more here than in GTAV because I actually found the characters here interesting, while in V I couldn't wait until they died so they would shut up.

@zelyre: I mean to be fair, the baby is more of an animatronic sin against God and nature than a person.

What if a Bethesda Fallout game DIDN'T start with you exiting a Vault and being on a quest to find someone? That would be wild.

I am assuming, from the Thumbnail and comments, that Jeff Gertsmann enjoyed the movie Master of Disguise more than Red Dead Redemption 2.
