@evanbower: For all the people giving GB a bad time for going to GS, they should really watch the interview about Whisky Media being sold to who bought them. Seems like and comes out in interview that the people who bought Whisky Media really care only about the tech and their delivery system and even said how that can optimize their ad revenue.

Gamespot is reporting that not only will GB join CBSi but the following'"Gerstmann will continue in his role as editor-in-chief of Giant Bomb and will help shape the editorial direction of CBS Interactive's gaming portfolio, including GameSpot and GameFAQs." Just wondering if this is also true?

@Methodis said:

People should stop being dirty poors and just rebuy their games to support the developers. It disgusts me when people look for a "free hand out" just because they already bought a game. I don't get a free hand out when I bought a Burger King Whopper and I eat it and want another one. Why should video games get one?

@Methodis

Your logic makes no sense what so ever. Using your flawed logic then when you buy a dvd or a blueray of a movie we should only be able to watch the movie one time and have to keep on re-buying the movie every time we want to watch it. Or have to pay $1.99 every time we want to play a song again that we have bought on I-Tunes.

It will be interesting to see how they approach the new machine. Will they consider it a repalcement for the Wii or a completely different platform. In a way I could see them keeping the Wii at a price friendly point and still develope for it for their casual customers and then use their new machine to try and get the hardcore base back.

CVG is reporting that the controller will have a built in HD screen. If this is true, this just screams of them using their new 3ds screen tech in their controllers.
