This series is wonderful. Abby and Dan are both delightful on it.

And I totally see where Abby is coming from by shooting every enemy. Most other games teach you to play that way. But there are many RE2Remake players who hate the endgame because they blow through all their ammo early on. I really hope someone recommends running more and leaving enemies alive so she'll have ammo, especially high-end ammo, later.

This was the most fun I've had with a stream in a long time. Abby's reactions to the Licker are priceless. I really hope y'all continue on with the game!

Loved this game on Steam. The pixelart has more personality than the higher res follow-up they're working on now. The combat is tough but fair, and the game is short enough to where if you don't mind patient combat, you can beat it in a day or two.

Also yikes that was an awkward way to start a Quick Look.

Not sure where else to ask this question. On the old site any comment could be flagged by a user so a mod could look at it. I've had some pretty gross stuffed messaged at me.

On the new site I don't see any such option. Was it removed? And if so, when will that option or a superior replacement show up?

It's a shame that Florence failed to hang in the Most Story category.

So, how spoiler filled is any RDR2 conversation? Like, lets say I just got to Chapter 4 in the game. Wise to avoid their conversation on it if I've managed to avoid any spoilers thus far?

Highly spoiler filled, and very quickly Jeff pushes them to not hold back. It's a good conversation because it's so candid, but you definitely shouldn't listen if you don't want to know how the game ends.

Just want to give a shout-out to Jan. Like in past years the person in charge of producing these podcasts can't engage as much as the others, but when he does weigh in, he's a great voice of reason. I particularly dug him dropping knowledge about Spider-Man lore.

Glad to see some some well deserved criticism is thrown at God of War. That's why love Giant Bomb. That game did so many things wrong and it's sad yet predictable how how other gaming site gloss over because of hype. "Gaming journalism" is not going to be respected because of shit like this.

To play devils advocate, couldn't one argue that how the game treats women is representative on how the mythology as a whole treats woman, and game is trying to be faithful to the source material? Norse Myhtolygy is known for mysogynystic shit like killing and raping female because male masculinity and Viking shit, one of the reason why I never been invested in the stories of these shitty gods.

Good points! It's worth pointing out that God of War 4 is *not* faithful to its source material. Its adaptations of mythology are extremely loose; in the tales, Baldr isn't driven mad by his invincibility (and his invincibility works a different way that anthropomorphizes the world) and definitely isn't on a tear to kill his mom. Frigg/Freya does not regret giving him this power. I thought the story God of War told was cool, but it deliberately reshaped things to suit stories the American writers felt was more interesting.

It's definitely fair for people to want them to write varied female rep into this remixed world, and I hope it's something the team takes into account for the sequel.
