You'll get a full party of three soon, then the levels started to be accurate IMO. The game is definitely built with that in mind. But you need to strike from the sides and back, and as Rex, you need to use blades other than Pyra also. Switching blades allows you to cast more special moves.

I've played alot of FIFA and NHL 17 and racing games that are harder to count as being finished. And basically multiplayer only games that can't really be listed here. Entire first half of the year was so busy for me that I played a lot less single player games than most of the time.
But now i'm currently going through Zelda Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel (with a friend) and Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter. I've gotten the spark to play all of these plus some more single player stuff that I've gathered through the times from Steam sales and with the PS+ and Xbox One Gold memberships.
It's normal to get a phase in which you just don't finish any games for a while. But you can also bounce back from that.

As you are a military and history nerd, give a try to a Swedish band called Sabaton. They make metal music based on war history and i think you could be into it.
@zevvion: Yes it does, maybe my point didn't come across the best way. Obviously it is better when played with a controller too, but if i have to give up good framerate, i rather do that when playing with a controller.
I care because playing on the PC with mouse support it feels good to control the game when response is smooth. That is why pc gamers are starting to use more 120 or 144hz monitors to get an even smoother experience. On a console or when playing with a controller anyway, 30fps is okay in single player scenarios but not with anything that requires precision or is competitive. I transferred to pc because 60fps or more just feels so smooth. If consoles had a way to reduce resolution for a better framerate i would do that with most games that arent allready 60fps. It's all about the feeling.
Hard one to do stealthy thanks to the really small route. Managed to plant a fire extinguisher to the spot where he talks with the chef in the citchen, went to the storage behind the doors there, shot the extinguisher and ran away with the five "stars" of not being spotted and so on.
