So I checked my television's latency, and it kind of kicks ass in the regard (tv has some motion blur issues, but other than that it's wonderful). Pretty sure it's around 27 mms. I plugged in my current laptop (which is ass) to see if there were any issues, and the text is perfectly legible, display took some fidgeting to fit, but other that that it seems fine. Thanks for all the answers.

So I recently got ahold of a 47' 1080p flatscreen. I have been considering building a pc for quite some time, and I could really cut back on expenses for stuff like a desk and a monitor if I used the tv. Is there any drawbacks or things to be cautious of before proceeding?

So I'm pretty shit a Street Fighter. Looking for some dudes who maybe are on the same boat, or are experts, who are willing to help out a little, in any way they can.
