Regarding the revelation that Lisa Lisa was Joseph's mother, they basically already gave that away in episode 21 when they revealed that she was the baby from the ship. Back in episode 10, Smokey reveals that Joseph's mother was the little girl that Erina rescued. Although he says that she succumbed to disease, which must have been been a cover story.
It's funny that the people on the podcast wave away the Mario pronunciation as "an American thing" when they're guilty of the same thing. It's true that the way most Americans pronounce it with an emphasis on the "r" as Mar-io isn't quite right, but it's closer to the proper Mah-rio (emphasis is on the first syllable) than it is to Merry-oh. I assume they're not familiar with the Italian or Spanish pronunciations. But I don't know offhand the language distribution in Europe to say whether Tam's claim that most people in Europe say it like them is correct.
As convincing as y'all were, DokeV was not shown at the Summer Game Fest 2021. It was shown at Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2021, and then there was that music video at The Game Awards 2021. Pretty excited to hear more about it too.

Call me a spoilers baby (if you dare!) but eroding that discovery is a bummer.
I think most of what they said was pretty vague, but the part that Jess called out was justified and I think it was shitty of Jeff Gerstmann to act so flippant about it. Apparently 2 ½ weeks is a "long time".
I thought it'd be fun to watch along with them, but they keep revealing too much about the future of the series for my taste. I'm just going to have to come back to this when I've watched much more of the series.
For some reason none of the other crew corrected Jan, so I want to point out that at 33:10 Jan mentions that Horizon Forbidden West is a PS5 exclusive, which it is not.
