I disagree about pointing to Resident Evil 2 as a good example for a remake. The team did apparently refer to it as a remake internally during development, but as the scope grew they eventually landed on calling it a "reimagining" according to producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi. Capcom is also using that term to describe the new Resident Evil 4 game being released next year.
Jess' explanation about being stressed out hearing people say they have to pee makes so much sense now. I remember a Mario Party Superstars stream she did with Abby where this happened and this puts that interaction into context. Dan and Bakalar were also on that stream and I wonder if either of them also made that connection.

Honestly, I wish they would have used those more. For example, the Choo-Choo Charles one from that show was a more reasonable length than the one they used and had the dev explaining a couple things they asked about.
I don't know how Jason and Jess both heard $100,000 for the gorilla question. In the recording, Dan clearly says $100 million, which is more than enough.
Also, I don't see how there's any issue with preparation. I've never heard that as a caveat to these kind of questions. When you somehow survive the attack, your injuries will be severe and almost certainly long-term debilitating. You'll be lucky if you're not maimed. I wouldn't risk it to not prepare.
