Anyone notice this yet? While I was planning what to buy with my birthday money that I'm recieving soon I noticed something. The new Avatar game is only 30 bucks.
Well...I guess it's a budget game.
Then I go to the new Tales of Symphonia title. 40 bucks. It's not a mini game compilation is it? Is there something I'm missing here or is the Wii economy so good that they can charge these low prices? I hope this is a continuing trend and spreads over to other consoles. And maybe this means the DSi won't be as expensive as everyone expects. BTW I read it's gonna  have more RAM in it which means they can bump the graphics up a bit.
Also I want to make an observation on No More Heroes 2 real fast. The sub title is Desperate Struggle. That's DS. I don't think it's going to be a DS game but maybe some kinda of DS integration. Maybe. That'd be pretty cool.

Woos all around cause it is my birthday. Though by the time you read this it will be the day after my birthday. I celebrated by promoting my Xbox Live account to an adult account as this is my 18th birthday! Unfortunately that halts any plans of mass genocide I had as I am now eligible for the death penalty. How's that for dark humor?

So over the past few days I've gotten a few gmaes for my 360. On Thursday I got Call of Duty 4 which is amazing in nearly every way. Then yesterday I got Halo 3, Dead Rising, and Assassin's Creed. first off let me say that it is hard to play Halo 3. It's hard because after playing CoD4 which clearly runs at 60 FPS Halo runs at a normal 30. It's not bad or anything but what a huge difference. Assassin's Creed is good but I'm not used to it anymore so I'm probably gonna start over again to get a feel for the game. Dead Rising is great except for the survivors who are stupid, get stabbed easily, and the save system. Wow. That save system is bad. When you die you can either keep your progress and start over from the begining or start from the last time you saved. So this is pretty bad for people who forget to save often. But a great game none the less. So I'm gonna spend the rest of the night playing Halo cya later.

I'm excited. I can't wait for the DSi and the DSiWare games. The camera is pretty cool and I guess I could use one but still, DSiWare games! This is the handheld I dreamed about people. Get excited. And the storage problem is fixed (for now) and what's this about old GCN games on Wii is it a download thing or retail? I can't imagine it being download with only a maximum of 2 GB SD card allowed in the Wii. But you know what I'm excited for the most?

Glitches are everywhere for me recently. Nearly every game I've gotten last week has given me some sorta glitch. The most expected one is in Gears of War when you use the lancer and cut the air in half while the enemy you were targeting is randomly squirting out massive amounts of blood. That's common and expected. So then I go to play Bully Scholarship Edition and I did remember that they had some lag issues but the patch that I downloaded is meant to correct it. The thing is there are so many more uncorrected glitches that it demands another patch but considering I got my new copy at Target for 8 bucks due to the large number of unsold copies I doubt it's going to happen. Here's a recent example of a glitch: I go to play the last mission of Chapter III, The Rumble, and I get to the point where I have to flee the police on a bike but the bike refuses to move. I tap the A button as fast as I can but Jimmy and the bike share some sort of seizure motion. So I turn it off and try later (having to redo some of the earlier missions to get there) and then I accidentally swap out my slingshot for my skateboard and before I can get to the bike scene the skateboard takes effect but my controls are disabled. So I'm just running into this cop car over and over again cause I can't do anything else. So I turn it off and come back (I saved before the mission so I didn't have to replay the earlier ones) and get to the bike part and it works! Hooray! I die. The boss killed me, well there are no deaths in Bully so he KO'd me...with a lead pipe...then I get to fight him again and beat him, get the achievement for completing Act III, go to English class and get the ability to get better taunts. For some reason the game made me crouch when I got out of class and it prevented me from being able to do the mandatory practice of the taunt and with to way to skip it I had to shut off the game. Now I have to beat the last mission of Act III AGAIN! If I didn't like Bully so much I'd stop playing. It's still pretty playable and for 8 bucks I can't complain too much. Then I got Castle Crashers! Guess what I found! A glitch! In the one ice world I somehow glitched behind the background and was able to walk on the sky. This was an amusing glitch that I actually liked. I can't wait for the multiplayer fixing patch. Then Geometry Wars (the first one) had to be different by not glitching. Shame on you Bizarre for making a glitch free game.

Maybe an expansion that can be unlocked after completing it on Legendary? I think a map maker is supposed to be coming and I would love to see that. More maps, more achievements, the map maker, and new armor is what I think should be included if it truly wants to live up to the term mythic.

Woohoo! I'm excited. Well tired now (it's almost 4:30 am) I went to Subway today to pick up my 360 from my friend. I played some Luxor 2, Feeding frenzy, Uno, Boom Boom Rocket, and Pac Man Championship Edition which came with the Arcade edition. I went to GameStop right after getting it to pre order Gears of War 2 but I have yet to get any ID and the ESRB already rated it. I looked through the pre order book and I remembered that one of the titles on there had a great pre-order bonus. So I got Banjo and Kazooie Nuts and Bolts not because the game excites me in anyway but because I can get the original for free. After I get that I might just cancel the order and put it on Gears. Maybe. Depends on how much money I have after I pay off my 360 and get a hard drive. I was supposed to borrow Bioshock off my friend but he forgot it and lent me his gamefly copy of Assassin's Creed which I gotta say is a whole lotta fun. If I don't beat it and get tired of it I'll probably go out and buy it. I also played the trail versions of UMK3, Geometry Wars 2, Happy Tree Friends, and Puzzle Quest. I love Geometry Wars.

It's at my friend's house. He ordered and paid for it and I'm (slowly) paying him back. Speaking of this friend of mine he decided that it would be funny to draw "extensions of the male anatomy" all over my sociology folder. So if anyone knows any gay rights newsletters I can sign him up for please let me know. Plus he's getting rick rolld. Just after Saturday cause you know, I want my 360. So to kill the time I'm gonna try to get back into World of Warcraft for the next two and a half days. I bought a two month card back in June and played for a few days then lost interest. What a waste...well if I can (miraculously) level up to 40 by then I'll consider renewing my subscription in hopes of getting to level 51 and being able to create a Death Knight. No matter what anyone says controlling the dead is freaking awesome! Back to my friend again, if anyone else can think of a good prank to play with his email address lemme know. I have his password too so I can register him for anything. I also know his ebay and paypal passwords. He's lucky I'm not that big of a jerk.

I could sell my Wii and waste the $200+ I've spent on Virtual Console/WiiWare and give up on Smash Bros. and all my GameCube games too seeing as how that's broken. Or I could not be dumb about it. The way I see it Nintendo has given us the core Wii owners time to get other consoles and take the most of the generation and when the new Zelda and Mario games come out we'll be ready for them. And if you ask me it's just a case of quality over quantity in their games. The games the release/work on for only a year tend to suck worse than the next big Uwe Boll movie. There has never been a bad Mario or Zelda game made by Nintendo (in their main series and not including spin offs) so why would I sell my Wii only to have to buy a new one when I want to play those new titles?

Yay! High school! Again... Senior year though so it's not too bad. Last time I'll have to go to school outside of college (still no idea what I'm doing btw.) I was gonna wake up in a half hour from now (4:30 am) but I couldn't get back to sleep and have only gotten maybe 2 or 3 hours of sleep today so it should be fun. That's pretty much all I want to say oh and I got a 360 Arcade off ebay and it's in the mail.
