I've loved this series, but feel like this was probably the weakest video for one of the best games.
Dreadhalls relies so much on the oppressive audio and the feeling of claustrophobic isolation for its scares that Abby having Vinnie to chat to all the way through kinda killed all of the tension.
Still, great work team, hope you do this again next year!
My initial gut reaction was one of intense dislike, I've loved the casual setup the guys have had for so many years now, and this just feels kind of sterile in comparison.
That said, I'm sure they have their reasons and that I'll get over it pretty quickly. They're still the same awesome crew I've been watching for a decade and will continue to watch for the foreseeable.
One request though: please do something about the lights that're book-ending the desks. They draw focus away from the guys, and make the whole scene look cold. Maybe colour them to something a bit less offensively bright?
Picked this up after hearing Ben being into it on the Bombcast and can 100% confirm it's charming, beautiful and ridiculously good fun to play. Buybuybuy!
