Counter-strike. I had a whole ton of friends who were CS nuts but I refused to get into it. It was kinda like reverse peer pressure. I didn't wanna play it 'cause everyone else was. Also, I suck at twitch shooting skills which is why I play heavy in TF2.

To use the Kritz to its max potential you have to be in a position where you have firing access to a lot of enemy players and structures in a relatively confined area. The obvious problem with this, though, is that getting into this position makes you especially vulnerable because unlike an uber, where you can just run in and massacre whatever doesn't run out of your way in time with no fear of getting killed, you could be only killed within a second or two of the Kritz charge thereby wasting it.

Generally speaking, I'd say a good Kritz charge is most useful for ambushes on enemy bases where you're flanking them and aren't at immediate risk of being killed like in a frontal assault. The best example that comes to mind is using the sewer tunnel in Dustbowl to come up behind an enemy position and just rape them from behind.

My new years resolution last year for 2007 was to own each of the major consoles and a decent gaming PC by the end of the year. While I did not manage to achieve this by start 2008 (as I'm not exactly rolling in cash) I accomplished this by the middle of this year. My rationale was that I would never have to worry about whether or not I own the console whenever a new game came out that I wanted to play.

My friend had a different take on this concept, though, and he told me that he was perfectly fine with a good gaming PC (I won't bore you with the specs but suffice it to say that with a quad-core and two 8800GTS cards SLI'd it was capable of handling anything on the PC gaming market) and a PS3 that he'd be set for pretty much anything that he wanted to play. For him, any Microsoft exclusives that came out for the 360 would invariably come out on the PC within a reasonable time-frame and the PS3 would be used for Sony exclusives or cross-platform console-only games. Obviously the Wii is left out be he's the kinda who's not really into waggle.

So what do you guys think is your ideal combination of gaming platforms? What are the essential ones that you can't live without and what ones do you bypass or just not care about?

Some Emerson, Lake and Palmer would be amazing. Specifically Lucky Man. Although the crazy keyboard solo at the end renders the song essentially "never gonna happen".

In general, more prog rock would be nice. Some epic 10 minute King Crimson would make be a happy man.
