I challenge anyone to go to their local Wendy's fast food restaurant and order a Tripple Classic Cheeseburger with and Extra patty for 99-cents more. Adding an extra patty makes this burger a full pound of meat, which is enough ground beef for an entire box of hamburger helper, thats supposedly feeds a fucking family of 4!! I have seen my brother order this several times and atleast half the time we get asked by the acne infested employee if this is "some kind of joke"
Hamburger
A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).
Wendy's challenege
Not if havn't eaten thing all day. Sometimes me and my friends order burgers like that after football practice.
"That is just too much for one average human to handle."haha thats funny that you say that because it eventually just gets passed around in the car. not something that you want to eat if your trying to stay healthy..
for someone with no job, going to wendy's, i stay with the dollar menu but this 1 pound burger sounds interesting
I spent a week in the hospital a few years ago, and there was a wendy's right outside the place. After a week of unseasoned crap fod and lime jello, the first thign that came to mind was exactly that, but it was TWO double bacon burgers, not a quad burger. And a biggie frie and frosty.
Steak (generally) has significantly less fat than ground beef, especially the ground beef used at fast food restaurants.
The biggest I've ever ordered was a triple cheeseburger from my university cafeteria - we were early, so there were a ton of burgers on the grill and four of us each asked for three patties and complemented them all with onion rings and fries. Each burger had a massive hunk of cheese on it as they were meant to be eaten as a single patty on a bun.
They're big burgers, too, more pub style than fast food. Add the cheese to that and we were all walking around an hour later with what felt like a ball of steel clanking around in our stomachs.
I manage a Wendy's in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Just a few days ago I served a guy a Classic Triple w/ Cheese add 5 patties.
No. Shit.
I did have to look at him for a second and ask him if he was sure he wanted that much BEEF! It took 3 wraps to cover it so I could put it on a tray. Aside from that, In-and-Out 20X20 that I saw in another post, that was the biggest and most.......heart-stopping, burger I have seen in my life.
He finished it in about 12 to 15 minutes. Wish i would have taken a phone pic of it or something.
When I see Wendy's Challenge, I think of ordering one of everything on their value menu and finishing them all. Normally in a race against someone else. This leads to a lot of interesting situations, as one has to worry about the relative position of chili, Frosty, and baked potato, while also stretching the lone drink through all of it. Definitely an experience.
