I've just been reading an article in Rolling Stone magazine on David Lynch (guy who directed/created Twin Peaks for those who don't know) and I read that he had written, with Mark Frost, a screenplay of a comedy about a small town in Kansas where a doomsday device bathes the community in a strange radiation that causes every one to switch personalities. The movie was called One Salliva Bubble but was never made cause financing fell apart. 
 
Clearly Swery is a David Lynch fan. I wonder what other references there are to other works by Lynch?
 
Anyway, i don't know if anyone has pointed this out already so sorry if i'm repeating anything, but i just think this is interesting.
