I must say that your music is better than I ever expected when I first heard it...it also sounded like nothing I would expect from you after getting to know you. That music coming from an old Asian dude who can't stop talking about poo was just shocking!

A lot of things to do eh? Is one of those "things" Rob's mom? ...I just have to say that after replaying Two Worlds today in preparation of a new project...I forgot just how awful that game is and how I feel bad for hating on Jumper now. Poor Jumper...at least you're not Two Worlds!

Speaking of moms, I bought my mom Professor Layton for DS. I am going to have her try to play it this week end, and see if she will come on the show to talk about it.

Early report on Rob's mom: She has not been too successful in her quest to dominate Professor Layton ...in fact, Rob, being the sweet son that he is, immediately said, "Omg, my mom is mental challenged" after letting his mom play the game for about 15 minutes.

@db90: I beat Far Cry 2 last night and I know exactly what you mean...I'll be going through the game again just to go diamond hunting and dick around (etc) and I'll probably enjoy that more than my "story playthrough". Also, I was actually pretty damn awake and ready for this podcast this week (even at the start of the show), but Gus showing up 2 hours late meant that I was a goner by the end of the show.

I'm not even trying to be funny...I'm spitting out pure factual data right there! :P ...Honestly though, that is a word-for-word quote from Rob. Last night all I heard for about 10 minutes was. "OMG...she couldn't even do this one!" --- Dark Sector = not so enjoyable at the moment....even as a $10 game.

I truly did say that. However she got up this morning and took over the DS to play more Prof. Layton... she will not be beaten by this game.

I think I dont have a DS anymore... My mom bought Brain Age, and The Price is Right on DS... she almost picked up Cooking Momma as well

This is just more proof that Nintendo knows what they're doing if they can turn your mom into a gamer...apparently the price is right for your mom! Sorry, I couldn't help myself :P

For some reason ever since I took up the Community Spotlight I feel this added sense of responsibility to listen to all of the community made podcasts. So far I've only listened intermittently, but now I guess I should listen to what I'm plugging.

Curious question for this week's upcoming show...Does anyone have any good stories about family and gaming? I find it funny how Rob's mom has suddenly just turned into a DS maniac; buying multiple games and playing the DS until battery death! Best "Rob's Mom" DS moment: Putting the DS on a table low enough that his dog, Halo (a little pug), could reach it, thus ending with Rob chasing his dog around to get his DS back :P
