Is it confirmed to be 800MSP/10$?

The PC version is the one I've played over the years and it seems alright enough, although you do have to get used to the controls being digital thus you need to stop every so often while sneaking around. Not sure if there's analog support if you have a controller plugged in or not.

@DrPockets000:  It's a nice gesture on their part, sure. But the fact is that they did so because the error was also theirs. I mean, they didn't have to give people free games as compensation, but for a DRM system with maybe not the best word-of-mouth out there, it'd be best to show off their good side.

First few minutes of playing the game, cutting down trees and figuring out how the item building works, when suddeny it got dark and I saw monsters roaming around. I quickly built a cube of dirt and barricaded myself in it.

@Lukeweizer:  He probably just isn't all that interested in the game to begin with.

" It's really not that big of a deal to be connected to the internet.  If the internet cuts out, boo-fucking-hoo, it takes an extra 30 seconds to reconnect and boot the game back up. "

what if your connection drops for a certain period of time? or what If you want to play it but don't have an internet connection at said location/point in time. People keep bringing up the comparison between steam and this kinda DRM, but Steam only requires authentication at certain intervals, and you can go into offline mode after authentication and not have to go through that.

Also, it doesn't necessarily have to be a problem with the user. Ubisoft's server's were getting DDOS'd the fuck out of when ACII/SC:C were released on PC, and people were unable to connect to the UBI servers. So even if my connection is all fine and dandy, what happens when their servers go down (wheter temporarily or for good)?

I'm not one to say DRM isn't a necessity in this day and age, but I dunno...I think steam's doing alright (cue comments about steam being god-awful or something).

Edit: Should probably take a look at post dates, I'm replying to a 2 week old post, silly me :<

@RsistncE:  Dunno what their plans are for releasing that stuff on PSN later, but I remember the pre-order bonus power in the first game being free for anyone to grab off PSN a while later. Cause I can live without the soundtrack, skin and the gold amp...But missing out on 2 powers does sound kinda like taking away features for no good reason.

@RsistncE:  You referring to the downloadable voucher? Cause a sling pack, comic book and an 8.5-inch statue sound like collector's edition things to me.

" I was kind of hoping Gearbox could make this game great, but I dunno... guess not. "

To be perfectly honest, Gearbox weren't really "developing" so much as they were smoothing out the rough edges and porting it to 360/PS3. 3DR and Triptych were the ones who laid out most of the work on that game, but I suppose it'd still be Gearbox taking the credit/criticism for it when it comes out.

It all comes down to the pricing, but in short. Yes.
