Now that the Bombcast is streamed live, I thought it would be a really cool idea to have the team take questions from the chat directly.

This I think would promote a more active discussion on the topic chosen within the people in the chat, and could also potentially lead to a bit of back and forth between the guys and the chat.

I realise that this might make things a bit trickier for them, having to pick the questions from the chat while the show is going, but either Drew or Jason could pick the questions during the initial part of the show and have them ready to go for the end of the podcast.

What do you think? Do you think it is something that might add something to the podcast?

Yup, still dipping to the low 50s on a GTX 1080 here.

It's a shame because I think it's one of the best driving game ever, but I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it until they patch it properly.

@anarchobama: This is exactly the reason I wanted to try this.

Sometimes I'll buy an Humble Bundle just for one specific game, but then discover another couple of gems I'd never heard of before. I've just subscribed for 3 months, we'll see how it goes!

Edinburgh, Scotland here, I pay the equivalent of about 1300$ for a 2 bed flat with private garden, plus around 300 for council tax and utilities.

Thanks everyone, it seems like it's a bit hit and miss depending on the kind of games you already have and would like to play. I think I'll give it a shot this month since I was interested in buying Dragon's Dogma anyway, and stick with it for a couple of months to see if it's worth it for me.

As the title suggests, I have just found out about this subscription service from the folks at Humble bundle, which basically gets you a handful of games every first Friday of the month for $12 a month.

Have any of you guys tried it yet and what do you think of it? As someone with 200+ games in the Steam Library, is this something worth the price tag or would I likely just end up with duplicate keys of games most of the time? And even if that was the case for you, do you find that there's still enough games you don't have in the monthly selection to make it worth it for you?

@zevvion: The time and dedication to proper optimization that accounts for a wider range of systems is what differentiates a good PC release from a shoddy one. To make your game run on top end hardware isn't as difficult as making that same game run well and still look good on mid-range systems. Doom and Gears from recent titles managed to do it and they were all the better for it. Games like Forza Horizon 3 didn't and after you get burned once or twice people tend to stay away at the first sign of trouble which isn't great for sales.

This.

Also, the "optimised for high-end system" is just nonsense. If a game is only optimised for high-end rigs it just means it's not optimised at all. Besides, people seem to have problems on gtx 1080s and i7s, as it was the case with Forza, so it's not even optimised for those systems. It will now be interesting to see if and how quickly they manage to fix the issues after release, as there have been a number of AAA games lately that have had serious performance issues on high-end rigs (Mafia III and Forza Horizon 3 to mention just a couple) and whose issues have not been resolved yet months after release.

I was really looking forward to this one, but after the performance mess that was Forza Horizon 3, I think I'll pass on this one until they release a patch that fixes the issues. Such a shame though.

@atholm: This looks super interesting, shame I don't have an iPhone because I'd have loved to give it a go. Is Android support coming anytime soon?
