The version of the stairs is better in this game than the original because Tifa doesn't straight up casually drop the R word. I bet a lot of people forgot that.
I'm kind of surprised people like the Modern Warfare campaign so much. I got a general bad vibe from it, but that might be due to me playing it after certain things in the news in December had happened.
Like there were some things in Death Stranding's story I thought were dumb, like most people. But then I came away from MW's story thinking: "oh, this is what people mean when they say 'no one is immune to propaganda'".
I love how, for the video of footage Brad brought back, there were a few people who commented saying that the game seemed too video-gamey; meanwhile that's exactly what Hugo says here that they want to embrace.
I think more people are going to be put off by the apparent fact that you have to pay attention to enemy weaknesses rather than just shooting everything in the face with whatever, than by the platforming or upgrade systems. Definitely the people who were put off by glory kills aren't going to want anything to do with this, obviously. (Not me though, this looks really fun).
@humanity: Yeah it's just your stuff from the area in episode 2 that is lost at the end of the game. I also had a zip-line system and the entire highway built by the end that going all the way back was a breeze. Probably took me like 10 minutes to get from Edge Knot to Lake Knot. But if you just b-line the game and don't bother to build any infrastructure, the game kind of punishes you at the end.
